|Deer Valley Resort will open for the 2017-2018 ski season on Saturday, December 2, 2017, with eight chairlifts and nine ski runs.

2017-2018 Early Season Lift Ticket Rates:
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 2 and 3, 2017, guests have the unique opportunity to race against a champion who has made their mark in the skiing world. Happening on the Race Hill located at mid-mountain, guests can go head-to-head in unforgettable challenges against Deer Valley’s Ambassador of Skiing Heidi Voelker, along with athletes from the “Ski with a Champion" program; Shannon Bahrke, Kris “Fuzz” Feddersen, Jillian Vogtli, Trace Worthington and Chris Waddell. Guests that day can also enjoy complimentary cookies and hot beverages from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Race Hill and on the Snow Park Lodge Plaza. Opening weekend festivities are capped off with a live band and food specials at EBS Lounge from 2:30 to 6 p.m. The David Bowen Orchestra will play on Saturday and the Rogers Trio will perform on Sunday.
Deer Valley Resort pioneered the concept of five-star, gourmet dining at a ski resort and one of its crown jewels is the renowned Mariposa. The resort is celebrating 37 winter seasons by offering a special $37 prix fixe menu, along with an optional $37 wine flight, available December 1 through 14 at The Mariposa. Deer Valley’s premier restaurant treats guests to a blend of classic and current cuisine, including vegetarian and tasting menus. Deer Valley Grocery~Café: Open daily, year-round from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Brass Tag: Open daily, year-round from 3 to 10 p.m. with dinner service from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Mariposa: Opens Friday, December 1. The Mariposa is open Tuesday through Sunday evenings during the winter season from 5:45 to 9 p.m.
Goldener Hirsch Restaurant: Opens Friday, December 1 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and for lunch on Saturday, December 2. The Goldener Hirsch Restaurant is open daily for lunch, après-ski and dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the winter season.
Snow Park Restaurant: Opens Saturday, December 2 and will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Silver Lake Restaurant: Opens Saturday, December 2 and will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Snowshoe Tommy’s: Opens Saturday, December 2 for Deer Valley Turkey Chili, sweets, espresso drinks, and hot and cold beverages. Open daily, conditions permitting from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
EBS Lounge: Opens Saturday, December 2 for wine, beer, cocktails and appetizers with live music on the weekends. EBS Lounge will be open daily from 2:30 to 6 p.m.
Seafood Buffet: Opens Friday, December 8 and serves dinner Monday through Saturday evenings during the winter season from 6:15 to 9 p.m.
Royal Street Café: Opens Friday, December 8 for lunch and Friday, December 15 for dinner. Royal Street Café will be open daily for lunch, après-ski and dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fireside Dining: Opens Friday, December 8 and serves dinner Wednesday through Saturday evenings from 5:45 to 9 p.m.
Bald Mountain Pho: Opens Friday, December 8. Located in Silver Lake Lodge and open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Empire Canyon Grill: Opening TBD (weather dependent) and will be open daily from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Cushing’s Cabin: Opening TBD (weather dependent) and will be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
